FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the Image Slice tool

What input and output formats are supported?

You can upload common image formats (e.g., JPG, PNG, WebP). Exports are available as PNG (lossless) or JPEG (quality adjustable).

How do I set spacing between slices?

Use the 'Spacing' slider in Slice Settings. The preview updates instantly to reflect the gap between tiles.

Can I display numbers on the slices?

Yes. Enable 'Include Numbers' and choose one of the four corners to place the overlay for easier identification after export.

Are images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing runs entirely in your browser. We do not upload or store your images.

Are there size limits?

For best performance, we recommend images up to about 50MB. For very large images, compress or resize first before slicing.
